Corporate Social Responsibility

Spectranet, in collaboration with the Tulsi Chanrai Foundation, successfully executed a Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) project. This initiative included the installation of a new solar-powered motorized borehole, the construction and renovation of toilet facilities (providing a total of 81 toilets for children and teachers), and the establishment of four water stations to enhance access to clean water.

Spectranet, in collaboration with the Centre for Adolescent Health and Social Development, launched an initiative primarily focused on promoting adolescent health. The project featured outreach programs aimed at students and teachers at Gwagwalada School and the Centre for Mass Education, Bwari, addressing topics such as puberty, menstruation, and reproductive health.

Education is a cornerstone of economic development. In line with Spectranet’s commitment to contributing to societal progress, we have supported education by providing essential learning materials to underprivileged children. Beneficiaries of this initiative include Ita Faji School (2019) and five Lagos State Government Schools. Additionally, in 2022, Spectranet extended its support to Jam’iyyar Matan Arewa in Kaduna by contributing to their renovation efforts.

Spectranet, in partnership with HEI, is committed to enhancing emergency lifesaving services. As part of this mission, Spectranet provided Emergency Personal Protective Equipment and Medical Assistance. Additionally, the organization supported an Emergency Child and Maternal Medical Intervention, alongside a Community-Based Intervention for Acute Malnutrition.

Spectranet, in partnership with TCF, is tackling the issue of preventable blindness in Nigeria. TCF focuses on delivering quality eye care services to underserved and remote communities across the country. Spectranet contributed to this mission by supporting the expansion of the Eye Hospital in Abuja.

Spectranet, in collaboration with Hearts of Gold Children’s Hospice, extends support to physically and mentally abandoned children facing life-threatening and life-limiting medical conditions.

Spectranet partnered with Little Sisters of the Poor from 2016 to 2021. Located in Enugu, Nigeria, Little Sisters of the Poor is a home dedicated to caring for the elderly. The facility provides support and shelter for over 65 elderly individuals who have no one else to turn to.

Spectranet, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Lagos Island (RCLI) District 9110, which was chartered in 2016, is committed to serving the local community through compassion, support, and empowerment.

The Nigerian Business Coalition Against AIDS (NIBUCAA) is a coalition of private organizations in Nigeria dedicated to supporting the government’s efforts to combat the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Established on February 15, 2003, its mission is to leverage the resources of the private sector to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS and mitigate its impact on communities. NIBUCAA aims to ensure that individuals within the corporate workforce, high-risk populations, and the general Nigerian public have access to HIV counseling, testing, support, and vital information.
